sfjobs.lol is a deliberately simple experiment. Hiring managers and founders pay once to rank their job opening, the confirmed amount becomes public, and the leaderboard sorts itself so the best talent sees the roles investing in visibility.

The mechanism

A payment is an addition, not a reservation. It permanently increases your listing's public total. A competing listing with a higher total can move ahead at any time. Rank is earned through continued investment, not locked in at signup.

Why transparent?

Every visitor sees the same rank and the same confirmed totals. There are no private boosts, hidden quality scores, or subscription tiers affecting position. The board reflects exactly what has been paid and nothing else.
